WHEN SHOULD I CHANGE A NEW WIG?---Weavywig
2021-07-08

1. Doesn't shine.
For human hair, shine is a very important health factor. You can use some essential oils to make your hair look shiny, but if the day you feel that your wig is not shiny, it may indicate that it's time for a new wig.

2. The ends of the wig are frayed and cannot be repaired.
Unrepairable is a very important conclusion. A slight break can be repaired, but if there is a break in the middle that extends through the wig, you may need to replace it with a new wig.

3. The hair of the wig is now dry and frizzy.
Do you Remember what it looked like when you got the wig? The hair is soft and smooth. If you spend hours of your week detangling, put down the comb. It’s time for a new wig.

4. The wig cap is stretched out and no longer fits your head.
A wig should fit snugly, not too tight and squeezing your scalp. If your wig cap has been stretched and cannot provide a firm fit, you must remove it. One sign may be that you have to adjust the position of your wig frequently throughout the day.

5. Maximum shedding.
All wigs fall off under normal wear and tear. This shedding should be slight. If your wig is losing hair, you can consult an expert at your local wig salon. They may add additional hair weft back to your wig. If they cannot fix it, replace the wig.
